I drove to my brother’s place by a different route than usual to minimize the amount of time I have to spend on 2-lane roads, since the drivers down here are insane. It was dark so I couldn’t tell exactly where I was, but when I arrived in town I was disoriented. I didn’t know where I was and thought I might have made a wrong turn. I made a turn on a whim and quickly discovered the road now entered into a completely different part of town. I asked my dad about it and he told me the state had changed the road to bypass the town completely. When I followed the signs I was actually turning off the main road. Even the state wants to forget about this place.
